We all have a perfect picture of what we want out special days (wedding) to look like. In our minds’ eyes we have seen where each person will be seated, what will come before the other, the precise moment each detail will be carried out but what we would never picture is seeing a baby bump in your wedding pictures, especially not in the bridal train.

However, you should know that this is a trend that is catching on like wildfire, where you have each bridesmaid flaunting their pretty, rounded bellies. Besides, if it so happens that one of your bridesmaids finds out she is expecting and then she will start showing by the time of the wedding, would you kick her to the curb all because she does not fit into the ideal picture you have in mind? That is just mean and uncalled for but I know that there are some of us here who would actually dare to do that, claiming it is their special day and so it should be all about them.

If you like, you could put a superstitious spin on it- having pregnant bridesmaids is like a prayer for fertility that you have made (lol).

But seriously, the fact that you asked her/them to be a bridesmaid at your wedding in the first place should mean that she/they mean a lot to you thus, so what if she might add weight and spoil the slim look you want all your bridesmaids to have, is the only one in your picture who has an enlarged belly or whose dress would look slightly different? The most important thing should be that you spend your day with loved ones.

Mores so, haven’t you ever noticed how breathtakingly beautiful it is to have pregnant bridesmaids? They usually glow and add warmth. I say: if you have any pregnant friends, get them to be your bridesmaids!
